The Bliss Group has broad research interests in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, acoustics, and structural dynamics. Our group is focused on solving engineering problems through approaches that are both novel and efficient. We develop algorithms employing techniques such as modal expansion, boundary element method, asymptotic analysis and free wake method to model complex environments and further our understanding of physical phenomena. Additionally, we have developed several modeling tools including analytical/numerical matching, energy intensity boundary element method, alternate resonance tuning and multi-element multi-path design.
